Digestate:

The fermentation and anaerobic stabilization of the slurry and renewable crops produce a product at the end of the process, called Digestate. This material can be spread on the land, however by separation, it gives the liquid content a higher fertilizer value, with reduced odour, and a dry manageable solid that can be spread on the land. This product falls with in the NVZ rules, so there must be a check on the material output by the digester to comply with the rules for use on agricultural land.
